Configuring TPi2 Switch Ports....

I'm curious if it is possible to reconfigure the pair of 1G interfaces as a LACP trunk to allow connection to a managed switch? I've a Sodola 2.5 GB/s switch that the TPi2 is connected to, and I'd like to get both NICs connected, however, doing so pegs the CPU on the Sodola switch. I'd like to stop that from happening, if at all possible

Afair Trunking isn't possible with the switch chip, but the promised switch-management interface also has not yet materialized.

I suggest reviewing @CFSworks "realtek-dsa" GitHub branch: https://github.com/CFSworks/TP2-Firmware. These contributions were merged into the Turing Machines BMC-Firmware "master" branch after BMC-Firmware v2.0.5 was released. After these changes the switch remains unmanaged, but the framework to use i2C to configure the switch is there.
