Alright, checked my board and did some research. The version 2.0.5 corespondents with the bmcd version and not with the hardware model of the board. So if the device tree model won't output the correct version the best way to check the definitive version is to check the silkscreen around the power connector. There is the hardware version printed. I suspect it is 2.4 from remote. But checking before trying to update would be my advice
