Hi, i have a question. Why the internal switch on tpi2 needs to be managed throught /etc/network.... config? If its programable through i2c, wouldnt be easier to just push config into it via single use binary instead of backporting realtek driver to curent kernel and stuff? I have no idea how it works, i couldnt find any documentation for it but current solution seems like lot of work with very steep learning curve.
