Small update to bmc firmware based on alpine (currently mmc only): * tpi and bmcd are nativly compiling on alpine, saves 20MB of space (no binary and lib harvesting anymore from turing pi firmware 😉 ) * further sliming down firmware size * added docs to some commandline helpers in the firmware and the build environment As I got the compressed fimrware size down to approx 50MB, I am now looking into flashing and running the firmware also from internal flash. I have managed also to run the alpine base firmware completly from RAM fro rescue purposes.
