cm5 fan connector

The fan connector on a pi5 is smaller than the ones on the turing pi board. So trying to use a CM5 on the CM4 adapter boards would need some sort of adapter if you are using a cooling fan. Anying running CM5 boards know of such a thing?

I haven't found one yet. I have JST 1.25mm male plugs with stripped pigtails. I haven't been able to find JST 1.0mm female connectors with crimp connectors. Everything is SMD. I'll keep looking on DigiKey and AliExpress when I have the time.
One thing of note, that I posted elsewhere: the Turing Pi 2's node fan headers depend upon the presence of PWM fan controller logic on the compute module. The RPi CM4 and CM5 don't contain this hardware. It is provided by the Raspberry Pi CM4 and CM5 IO Boards through a discrete EMC2301 IC. What does this mean? Even if you can find the appropriate connector to create an extension cable, the node fan circuits will either provide non-adjustable 5VDC or 0VDC. Most likely 0VDC. On the Turing Pi V2.5.2 you could daisy chain the CM5 fans off the PWM fan header

you also set the associated switch to 5VDC. Otherwise, you'll need 12VDC active heatsinks. I know they are available for CM4s, but I haven't seen one for the CM5.
