@CFSworks shouldn't need to do that. It is Turing Machines' responsibility. TM needs to come up with a proper subset of the factory image and a procedure that will allow the board owner to easily enter the serial number from their v2.5.2 board's label along with the other parameters entered at the factory. Otherwise, TM will have to support two variants of the v2.5.2 board in the field, rather than one. Although it may not seem critical now, at some point in the future, the eeprom data will become important. Otherwise, why bother programming the eeprom at all?
