LangChain is a V1.0 tool, it was the first, but rushed with abstractions. As the development of prompt techniques goes further and the size of the model context grows, the solutions will be modified. We are making a V2.0 tool, sure there will be a V3.0 in the future. Now the focus of programming for models should be shifted from python to the context. Context is the new RAM and the first operating systems were loaded into RAM. What we plan to do, we will have a prompt to control the system and everything will be built in natural language around prompts and contexts.
